5 Months!

I CANNOT Believe I have a 5 month old!

Goodbye Fall! :(

Well we woke up to snow this morning! CRAZY how fast time is flying! Its basically Christmas already!! I decided its okay to listen to Christmas music now because our food has expiration dates of DEC!!! That makes it okay!! Grayson had a awful diaper rash this week! As a new mom I had no idea what to do besides diaper cream so I let him go free for an hour! Yes he peed all over the blanket but his diaper rash was cured! So as a poor mommy in Provo town, my ritual is everyday after I go to school, Grayson and I go to Costco.... and walk around and then the mall! Haha the mall is now Ghetto that Nordstrom left, so we go to baby GAP and see what else we can buy for Baby G and then Bath and Body Works to try on all the different scents!! I LOVE good smelly things!!! My favorite past time is looking at a calendar and sitting Derek down and "planning". Even though there's not much to plan, I have gotten SOOO excited for the holidays! I realized its because for the first time... I GET TO BE SANTA!!!! :) Grayson has now discovered his feet! All day long (when he's NOT standing) he grabs on to his feet! He also loves to stand by himself up against the couch! oh yea and he loves to play with jami and zach!!! :)

When Gamma Comes!

What a fun filled weekend!!! :) My mom came and totally spoiled Grayson and us!! I finally got my hair done after a YEAR!!! I cut 6 inches off and finally got my blondness back!! Grayson got an early Christmas present, the fun TOY circle bouncer thing which allows me to have free hands!!! YAY!!! Patsy and her wedding was absolutely beautiful unlike anything I have ever seen! And Grayson met a new girl Audette, He is going for the older ladies lately!. We went to City Creek in SLC and bought Grayson some warm clothes because all of a sudden the weather decided to be freezing! We took my mom to Cornbelly's to specifically take pictures of Grayson by the pumpkins! MID photo-shoot he barfed all over his gray shirt which made for nasty pictures!. Grayson is getting to be so fun and giggly! He loves to play with you especially his daddy when they wrestle, Grayson just goes crazy and laughs so much! Sadly Gamma had to go back to Connecticut and wont see Grayson again until he is 6 months and probably crawling! Crazy how fast this little boy is growing!! I love that the holidays are coming up, it will be so fun to have Grayson with us for all these fun festivities!! SO FUN!!! :)

4 monthsss!!

Grayson is now officially 4 months he weighs 14 pounds and is 26 inches! He has accomplished rolling over back to front and front to back! He also reaches for things started eating some baby food and he constantly wants me to help him stand! He just wants to stand all day long!.
 Dereks family came into town this past weekend! We had fun at Grayson's first BYU game! He mostly was freezing the whole time but I think it was so loud he was just wide eyed and confused the whole time (aka) he LOVED it! haha
 Grayson's Gamma (my mom) is coming this next weekend and Grayson has never been more excited in his life! :) The last time he saw her was when he was 8 weeks old!!! Connecticut has kept them apart!
My childhood friend is getting married this weekend which is going to be the most beautiful wedding ever so this Taylor family is excited for the wedding festivities!!!

And a great way to end this post..... this Saturday Oct 13, will mark the ONE year mark from the day mine and Dereks lives were changed forever!! We found out Grayson was going to be making our BRANDNEW marriage of 6 weeks.... into a family of 3!!!! WOW were we thrown for a loop! But its been the biggest blessing!! We love our little honeymoon surprise!!! :)

Babies having Babies!!!!

I can not believe Grayson is almost 4 months old! He is starting to have the most fun personality! He now rolls all over the floor and makes the cutest noises! We have only had him for 4 months and we already had to call poison control! NO JUDGING! haha Grayson got a hold of a measuring tape and sucked all the paint off of inches 52-59. As a new mom, I freaked out, yelled at dad because he was watching him while I was at school and called the doctor, mom, mother in law, poison control. They said he should be fine but I was not too happy! He still is not a very good sleeper which makes me tired ALL the time but then he pulls out his cute little smiles and makes everything okay!! I love being a mommy its the best thing in the world!
